Performing Arts Minor Requirements
The minor in Performing Arts encourages an appreciation and life-long participation in the arts while developing a sound skill set as authors, performers, designers, and technicians. The minor is one of the ways that we participate in the wider Marianist educational tradition by educating the whole person.

Upon completion of the Performing Arts minor, students will be able to:
Develop a written critique of a live performance that demonstrates application of the rules for criticism in the performing arts.
Define and apply terminology and techniques used in the performing arts in a written or oral presentation.
Interpret and articulate the history and development of the performing arts, particularly development of specific art forms, styles, and genres.
